NEW for 2020: Vegan Afternoon Tea

Vegan Afternoon Tea at Pentland Plants


We are delighted to now offer vegan afternoon tea at Cafe Panola.

This delicious freshly prepared homemade treat includes:
- 2 rounds of sandwiches with vegan cheese Carrot chutney and lemon & oregano humous with roasted vegetables
- Fruit scone served with jam and vegan cream
- Meringue and fresh fruit
- A selection vegan cakes, including 2 of the following:
Chocolate cake, lemon cake, ginger tiffin , oaty apple tray bake and banana and walnut cake

We have delicious vegan scones and cakes to add to our sweet treats and we always have homemade vegan soups available every day.

We are proud to source local Scottish produce for the food that we serve at our cafe. All of our dishes and home baking are freshly prepared on site in our cafe kitchen by our talented chefs. Afternoon tea is available every day from 2pm - 4pm and there's no need to book!

Help us support Make 2nds Count

£1 from EVERY sale of our beautiful home grown Poinsettia Princettias will be donated to Make 2nds Count this December.

Make 2nds Count is dedicated to making women and men living with Secondary Breast Cancer count. They fund medical research that will contribute to advancing an increased quality of life for patients. Also known as metastatic breast cancer their community programme supports patients and families affected by this incurable disease.

We grow over 50k Poinsettias every Christmas in our nursery. Our stunning Poinsettia Princettia varieties are available now at the garden centre and come in various shades of pink and white.

Live Christmas music from InChorus

InChorus is a large, vibrant, contemporary choir, from Peebles, Singing at all kinds of events from weddings to music festivals, sell-out theatres to flash mobs InChorus is certainly no ordinary choir. Their performance, music, sound and spirit are all totally unique and cherished by their members and the local community.

We are delighted to have them with us this Christmas, they are not to be missed!

Come and visit the Christmas donkeys!

 

THE cutest donkeys are back for another festive visit to Pentland Plants! They are our special visitors from the Scottish Borders Donkey Sanctuary and will be staying with us from Saturday 14th - Sunday 22nd December. All the money collected during their time here goes to the sanctuary to help care for the many donkeys who live there.

We are delighted to anounce that the garden centre will be opening fully as normal from Monday 5th April!

Cafe Panola will be then open for takeaways until we open properly on Monday 26th April 

We are only open for click and collect orders and deliveries until Thursday 1st April then we will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday to train new staff and prepare for opening!

 

You can place orders from by email to shop@pentlandplants.co.uk with your requirements and phone number and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Do keep an eye on our Facebook page and Instagram for regular updates 

If you require any information on stock we hold please don’t hesitate to contact us by email or through Facebook.

We are fully stocked with all plants, compost,  gardening items, dog food and treats, as well as wood fuel,  and gifts.
